Reflections For This Meeting:

Blue tape is very useful for bending plastic

We have done ALOT of PR stuff

The new hand is amazing

Today the team had a breif PR meeting, opened up the package from the laser printing company, bent the hand, bent components for the hand, fixed the gear boxes, and built a stand for Alice so that it could stance in and out without Chris having to hold it. A full day with a lot acomplished!

The to-do list for upcoming meetings

The team talking about the 12 main PR points that we would like to cover.  Probably the hardest part of the meeting.

The new laser cut plastic for the hand.  I wish we knew about laser cutting before this!

Bending the new hand with the laser cut plastic, which looks very nice.

Using the torch to bend the last part of the new hand.  The hand is going to look much better than the old one.

The before and after comparision of the hands.

Placing the rollers on the hand, which should help some of the problems that we had with the hand getting caught before.

The (almost) finished product.  It looks like it is going to work.  Can't wait until it is placed on the robot.

Assembling the flipper for the hand, which should help raise our score during the matches.

The launcher wheel, which should speed up our dumping.

Bending some of the smaller parts for the hand.

Al using blue tape to protect his fingers while bending the plastic.

Using blue tape to prot

The robot holder that should allow it to stance while on top of our box.

The robot holder with its polycarb base for holding it on the case.
