Techno Guards submit a video application to STEMposium

The Techno Guards are interested in presenting all of FIRST (not just the FIRST Tech Challenge part that we're now involved in) at STEMposium, an event that is going to be held in San Francisco in April of 2011. We found out about this event a week ago, and fortunately had barely enough time (and an FLL event where we could film the excitement) to create the required application video.

We put together this one minute video giving a general conceptual "commercial-like" view of FIRST and FIRST's role in STEM. We submitted it to the STEMposium team on Sunday afternoon (1/30) -- the video was due on the 31st, so we made it in time!

The video was written, filmed, and edited by the team with special appearances by FTC teams Geek Squad, WarriorBots, and ScotBots, FLL Teams: Cell-O-Bots, M-Cubed, Los Altos Geek Squad, and Claws, the Granite Bay Qualifying Tournament, and the entire NorCal FLL Championship Tournament!

Special thanks to Playing@Learning: the Northern California FLL and FTC partner, and Scot Brees for their support!
